Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 won’t be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 at launch on Nov. 14, 2025.
According to a report from trusted leaker billbil-kun with Dealubs, the game is planned for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
However, since Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision in 2023, which resulted in a 10-year agreement ensuring the availability of Call of Duty games on Nintendo consoles, the game is obliged to appear on Nintendo’s platform.
Co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be the 22nd installment of the franchise and the eighth main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following 2024’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
The first-person shooter will feature a single-player/co-op campaign, a multiplayer component and the cooperative round-based Zombies mode.
The story of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will follow the Black Ops team led by David Mason, set in 2035 following the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
