trailer accompanied the announcement, showing the fighter’s moves and personality for those unfamiliar with the Invincible franchise.
Battle Beast seems to be utilizing a lot of armored moves in his arsenal, which complements his fighting style that seems to lean more towards feral. While armored moves are still one of the things fighting game players have mixed feelings about, it will ultimately fall on the developer’s hands when it comes to handling them.
Aside from Battle Beast, the developers have also introduced another character last week called Rex Splode. This fighter is oozing with personality, as shown by the game’s official X account’s quips while the developers were promoting him. Not to mention, his super move quite literally throws profanity at the opposing character.
Invincible VS is being developed by the original team behind Killer Instinct, which shows a little bit of itself when it comes to the game’s animation. It will be available to play at EVO Vegas on Aug. 1 to Aug. 3, together with other heavy-hitters such as 2XKO and Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
