Delta Force’s all-time concurrent Steam player record is now at 177,862 players, two weeks after the developers announced that the game will also be released on consoles. The game’s previous peak was 162,436 players, set in June 2025.
The game is also showing steady growth in the storefront. SteamDB shows that the game has been gaining players in the five-digit range recently, except for June, which clocked in at 7,135. Additionally, the game’s 24-hour peak consistently reaches 160,000+ players.
Comparing that to similar games such as Call of Duty, the difference is clear. SteamDB records Call of Duty to be only played by 71,165 players daily, with an all-time player peak of 491,670 set almost three years ago.
While the difference between the player count of the two games might be high, Delta Force is a free game, unlike some of Call of Duty’s modes, such as the campaign. This is a huge boon for Delta Force as the barrier for entry is free, allowing players to simply download the game and uninstall it if they don’t like it.
Delta Force was initially launched on Jan. 2, 2025, for the PC. A mobile version of the game followed on April 21, 2025. On June 28, the developers announced that a console version for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will finally be available on August 19.
