Chants of Sennaar was officially released for iOS and Android platforms on August 26, 2025.
Developed by Rundisc and published by Focus Entertainment, 2023’s puzzle adventure title is also playable on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Chants of Sennaar begins with the protagonist awakening from a sarcophagus placed at the ground level of a large, spiraling ziggurat, where each level is home to a distinct caste of people with its own culture and language. The game tasks players with deciphering each caste’s language and using the knowledge gained to help them ascend to the next level.
In 2023, the game won the Off Broadway Award for Best Indie Game at the New York Game Awards.
