Duo-prioritized matchmaking was enabled in PvPvE extraction shooter ARC Raiders on Nov. 12, 2025, as announced on the game’s official website.
Besides that, cosmetic prices in the in-game store were lowered following the community’s feedback and are set to be renewed on Nov. 13, 2025. All players who have already made a purchase at the old pricing will receive compensation for the difference with Raider Tokens, which will be refunded back into their accounts automatically in the coming week.
Developed and published by Embark Studios, ARC Raiders, launched on Oct. 30, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
The title hit the mark of 700,000 concurrent players across all platforms and sold more than 4 million copies worldwide in less than a month since launch.
Set in the distant future on Earth, where mysterious and deadly “ARC” robots have taken over the surface, forcing humanity to live underground, the game allows players to assume the role of one of the “raiders,” those who choose to go above ground, also known as “the topside,” to collect resources during short runs on the topside, which then will be sorted with the assistance of their roosters for the welfare of underground city Speranza.
As of the time of writing, the title has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 71,791 reviews, while on the American review aggregator Metacritic, the title’s PC version has a Metascore of 85 points based on 50 critic reviews. Its PlayStation 5 counterpart has a Metascore of 92 points based on 12 critic reviews, along with the Xbox Series X version with 89 points based on 2 critic reviews and a “Generally Favorable” user score of 8.2 based on 653 ratings.
