The action arcade roguelite bullet hell title Ball x Pit has surpassed 750,000 copies sold.
The achievement was announced via a post on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Nov 5, 2025.
Developed by Kenny Sun and Friends and published by Devolver Digital, the game was initially released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on Oct. 15, 2025, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for launch later in 2025. Besides that, Ball x Pit’s developers hinted at the possibility of the game receiving a mobile port in the future, in reply to the respective question from a game’s fan.
Ball x Pit takes place in the ruins of Ballbybon after the city was destroyed by a meteor, leaving a giant pit. In the game, players control the adventurer who came to the ruins to seek the riches of the former city but must face hordes of monsters that lurk in the Pit. The title has two separate stages, where the first one, set down in the Pit, is an action roguelike inspired by ball breakout games like Arkanoid, and the second one, set on the surface, tasks players with expanding a small village adjacent to the elevator that takes them into the Pit.
As of the time of writing, the game has an “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 9,359 reviews.
