In a press release published on Sept. 4, 2025, Disney Dreamlight Valley developers revealed that the upcoming expansion, Wishblossom Ranch, will introduce horseback riding to the players, allowing them to mount horses.
The video accompanying the announcement also showed a few activities that the players can do in the Wishing Alps, one of the places that will be added in the expansion. In it, players can feed and take care of their horses, while also riding them around while doing some regular farming duties.
Additionally, the players will be partnered with Disney characters such as Snow White, Tinker Bell and the horse from Tangled, Maximus. The press release also mentioned that there will be new Disney characters that will be joining the players, as well as other horses that will appear.
The full showcase will happen on Oct. 15, 2025, where the developers will reveal more of what will be added to the game with Wishblossom Ranch’s launch.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation game that was released in 2023. Players will work together with Disney characters in the game while solving puzzles and doing other cozy things. The game is available on the Nintendo Switch & Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
