Syberia – Remastered is officially slated for release on Nov. 6, 2025, according to an official announcement from the game’s developer, Microids Studio, made via a comparative video of the original and revoked versions of the game.
The renewed classic point-and-click adventure in the clockpunk universe will land on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and a week later, on Nov. 13, will launch on Meta Quest 3 headsets.
The remastered version of Syberia is being developed by Microids Studio Paris in collaboration with Studio Virtuallyz. Syberia’s characters have been fully redesigned while every environment and location in the game has received enhanced 3D visuals. Besides the remake of the visuals, puzzles have also been tweaked, along with updated UI and controls.
Syberia – Remastered is set to include voiceovers in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian and Polish.
Originally launched in 2002, Syberia, created and designed by Belgian artist Benoît Sokal, is set in the same world as Sokal’s 1999 video game Amerzone. Syberia follows Kate Walker, an American lawyer tasked with overseeing the major sale of a company, which takes her on a journey across Europe and Russia to find the brother of the recently deceased owner.
Besides Amerzone and the initial Syberia title, the franchise also includes 2004’s Syberia II, 2017’s Syberia 3, and 2022’s Syberia: The World Before, dedicated to the memory of Sokal.
