On Aug. 12, 2025, Alinea Analytics published a report revealing that Battlefield 6 currently has 2.7 million wishlists on Steam. In addition to this, they also published a visual showing the other games that people who wishlisted Battlefield 6 also dabble in, which revealed that 62% of those who did also play Call of Duty.
Aside from the 2.7 million wishlists on Steam, the game is also celebrating $35 million in Steam revenue alone, as 605,000 pre-orders have been counted. The people over at Alinea Analytics called this success “well timed,” as the Battlefield IP has been struggling as of late due to the bad reception of both Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 5.
Battlefield 6’s beta, however, has turned the bad sentiment around the franchise into something good, as players believe this installment is its return to form. EA has announced that the beta, which happened last weekend, was the biggest one in the history of the franchise.
Alinea Analytics also pointed out that the game was last week’s second Steam game by revenues and third game by copies sold.
Battlefield 6’s open beta test drew more than 300,000 players daily and reached an all-time peak of 521,079 players. The developers will conduct another one starting Aug. 14, 2025, and will end on Aug. 18, 2025.
